I realize some people don't believe type 2 diabetes is reversible, but quite frankly that is just silly as it is not that uncommon on people who have massive weight loss.
Personally, I wasn't diabetic, but had massive insulin resistance and weighted 156 kg. After a lot of exercise (about 3 hours per day in some cases) and greatly improving my diet I lost about 30 kg in 6 months and the change in my insulin resistance was huge.
I really wish I knew about fasting back then. I lost 7.5 kg in less than two months with it so far, without much of a effort and actually exercising less.
